New RCH Nest Daycare Breaks Ground

Crews from Commercial Builders, Blaine’s Electric, M&D Excavating, Werner Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Penco Engineering, RCH Board members, members of the RCH Administration, RCH Auxiliary president, a representative of the USD 270 School Board and the Heartland Community Foundation all were in attendance of the groundbreaking for the highly anticipated new daycare facility that will be built on the Rooks County Health Center property. The Nest will be built east of the William and Brenda Crawford Rehabilitation Center and will be staffed and run by the USD 270 school district. Hospital employees will have first opportunity for the 12 daycare spots available with any remaining spots to be opened to the public. This was made possible by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation through its generous grant and its initiative to see expansion of daycare in Northwest Kansas. We are excited to have this opportunity available for our employees and the residents of our community.
