Kansas Commerce Small Business Survey

Last Updated 2/13/2025

The Kansas Department of Commerce, in partnership with Next Street, is conducting an assessment of the state’s small business landscape. This initiative aims to identify key needs and challenges Kansas small businesses face, particularly in accessing capital and support services, to inform actionable strategies for improvement.

As a Kansas small business owner, your insights are essential to shaping this work. We invite you to share your feedback through a brief survey designed to understand your needs, challenges, and experiences with accessing resources (e.g., capital, technical assistance). The survey should take you no longer than 15-minutes to complete.

Survey Access:
• Access the survey in English here
• Access the survey in Spanish here

Deadline: Please complete the survey by February 17, 2025.

Confidentiality: When completing the survey please keep in mind that your responses are completely confidential. The survey is managed by Next Street, an independent firm, which will compile and report results in aggregate only. Your individual responses will not be shared, so please feel free to answer openly and honestly.

Thank you for contributing your valuable perspective to this important effort. If you have any questions or encounter technical issues, please contact Marc Punnette at Next Street at [email protected].
