Progress on Plainville Livestock, RCH expansions

As winter approaches, work has mostly moved inside on two expansions taking place in Plainville.

img_1972 Plainville Livestock has completed the outside structure of their new facility on NW 3rd at the west end of town.  The new facility will house many of the activities that have been a part of the old facility that has been a fixture in the community for many years.  Parking areas, cattle pens, and loading/unloading facilities have also been expanded.

Rooks County Health Center is moving quickly on the MRI/Nuclear Medicine addition to their facility.  This addition to the west side of the current hospital will allow for the hospital to do MRI procedures that up to now have been conducted in a mobile vehicle that had to be scheduled for the patients.  Several new positions will be created when the addition is complete.
