New Physician and New Physical Therapy Addition at Rooks Co. Health Center

Rooks County Health Center (RCH) continues to expand both their facility and their workforce.  The hospital will host an Open House on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the new Rehabilitation Center on the north side of the hospital.  The Rehabilitation Center includes space for Cardiac Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.  Visitors will see the new zero-entry aquatic therapy pool with a treadmill floor, as well as offices, equipment and space for all services provided.

Also new to RCH is Dr. Jenny Maciaszek.  Dr. Maciaszek is now accepting new patients, including pediatric, adult, geriatric, and obstetric patients to her practice.  Maciaszek has strong connections to Rooks County and the region.  Born in Russell to Dennis and Lori (Malin) Davidson, she graduated from Russell High School in 2001.  She is the granddaughter of Plainvllle resident Rita Malin.

Dr. Maciaszek earned her degrees in Journalism and Political Science at the University of Kansas.  She studied medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating in 2016 and earning a Masters Degree in Public Health along the way.  She then completed her Family Medicine residency at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska before returning to Kansas.

Welcome to Rooks County and RCH Dr. Maciaszek!
