Midland Marketing broke ground for a new 1 million bushel grain storage facility in Palco on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. The new $5 million facility will be located in the area near Kansas Highway 18 that has been used recently for above ground grain storage. The new facility will have four bins, each with approximately 250,000 bushel storage. Construction is expected to begin soon and be finished by harvest of 2019. Reif Construction and Welding of Plainville is the contractor.
